Natasha Ruck

For over 8 years, Natasha has supported people with disabilities to use assistive technologies to achieve their educational goals. She began her training at the University of the West of England’s disability service arranging reasonable adjustments for students and advising academic staff on accessible teaching.

 

She has carried out 1000 Disabled Students’ Allowances assessments, recommending specialist equipment and software for students with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, medical conditions, mental health difficulties and specific learning difficulties. She has also delivered training to disability staff and assessors on disability awareness and assistive technologies.

Natasha now divides her time between supporting children and students to access technological aids and equipment to overcome barriers both in education and in general life.

 

Natasha has a 1st class degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate certificate in Leadership and Innovation.
